Microphone and Speech Recognition
Voice Interview AI - SWE uses microphone and speech recognition permissions so you can answer by voice. In normal operation, Voice Interview AI - SWE sends transcript text to our backend for interview processing. We do not intentionally upload raw microphone audio recordings as part of standard interview turns.
How We Use Information
- Deliver interview sessions, coaching loops, and product features you request.
- Process speech and transcript content to generate interview prompts and feedback.
- Support subscriptions, entitlement checks, and account access controls.
- Monitor reliability, investigate abuse, and improve quality and safety.
- Respond to support requests and communicate notices related to the service.
How We Share Information
- AI model processors used for interview inference, but only after you grant AI processing consent in the app. The current submitted server configuration uses Z.ai GLM through an Anthropic-compatible API endpoint; future server configuration may use Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Google Gemini for the same interview-processing purpose.
- Service providers that help us run Voice Interview AI - SWE, such as cloud hosting, AI model inference, subscription infrastructure, and customer support tooling. We confirm that these third-party partners provide the same or equal protection of your data as described in this policy.
- Platform providers (including Apple) for app delivery, purchases, and account services.
- Legal or safety disclosures when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect users and the service.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use IDFA based cross app tracking or third party advertising trackers in the app.
AI Processing and External Processors
To generate interview questions and feedback, Voice Interview AI - SWE needs your permission to send your typed answers, voice transcripts, and current interview context to Voice Interview AI - SWE servers and to AI model processors used for interview inference. The current submitted server configuration uses Z.ai GLM through an Anthropic-compatible API endpoint; future server configuration may use Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Google Gemini for the same interview-processing purpose. Voice Interview AI - SWE sends a unique app identifier, device model, app version, build number, and timezone offset only to Voice Interview AI - SWE servers to run the interview and keep the service working correctly. Voice Interview AI - SWE does not upload raw microphone audio during standard interview turns. Please do not share sensitive or proprietary corporate information during practice.
Voice Interview AI - SWE asks for this consent before any interview content is sent for AI processing. If you do not consent, the interview session does not start.
For this submitted build, the primary interview AI processor is Z.ai GLM through an Anthropic-compatible API endpoint. Voice Interview AI - SWE shares the interview content required to generate prompts and feedback with this provider. Server configuration may also use Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Google Gemini for the same interview-processing purpose. Voice Interview AI - SWE sends a unique app identifier, device model, app version, app build number, and timezone offset only to Voice Interview AI - SWE servers to run interview sessions and keep the service working correctly.
Apple and RevenueCat are separate billing and service providers used for purchases, entitlement validation, and account subscription operations rather than interview model inference.
We require our service providers and processors to protect personal data under their contractual commitments and applicable privacy and security terms at a level comparable to the protections described in this policy.
Our AI providers' published privacy materials and terms govern their handling and retention of processed data. Voice Interview AI - SWE sends only the content needed to run the interview session and asks users not to include sensitive personal or proprietary information in practice answers.

Support issue reports and uploaded diagnostics are retained until no longer needed for troubleshooting, abuse prevention, or legal obligations.
